It is our goal to put a learning center in the area which will benefit not only Pipie, but the neighboring villages. This learning center will house a library, a computer lab, a tailor shop, and a hairdressing salon.
There is a building that will house a clinic and we will also be setting up a store with food, household, and retail items. We will be giving residents gifts of clothes, health products, shoes, toys, etc.
We are asking for donations to help us realize this dream. We are asking for donations in the form of: care packages – rags, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, shampoo, etc;
Over the counter medication – ointments for cuts and bruises, Tylenol, Benadryl, children and adult vitamins, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, diabetic check kits, blood pressure machines.
Sewing kits – needles, thread, scissors, pins, inch measures, (anything to do with dressmaking/tailoring) Back to School supplies – books, pens, pencils, book bags, pencil case, sharpener, markers, glue, folders, folder leaves (any school supplies)
Hairdressing/Barber supplies – clippers, aprons, combs, hair, hair pins, shampoo, conditioner, wall pictures, chairs, hair wash basin, dryers, Food – (non-perishable) canned tomatoes, rice, oil, peanut butter, mac & cheese, ramen noodles, sugar, flour, mixed vegetables, mixed fruits, evaporated milk, tuna, sardines,
Working…. Computers, laptop, universal modems, (any items for the computer lab) Library – fiction, non-fiction, educational We also accept new and slightly worn clothes and shoes.
